So what is this about? I figured it out! Or at least I made myself an explanation up:
The 007-theme songs including its performers stand for the individual development of the main character.
As James is in Casino Royal very impulsive and cool but a bit rough, also are the the song “You know my name” and performer Chris Cornell.
Now in Quantum of solace James changes and gets torn inside. On one side is the more expierienced and classy James (represented by Alicia) and on the other side the branded kid that sometimes acts unpredictable or seems out of mind (represented by Jack). This is reflected in the new theme song “Another way to die”.
