April 2nd, 2009design&advertisingIf you want people to reach out for your product, you have to make it likeable from the first step. For instance your product’s name: Customers have to connect positive impressions with your product and the brand, so the name can be one of the chances to make a sell. It’s not about making a rip-off but to create a feeling of familiarity.
Having this in mind a german drugstore-chain launched their line of sanitary products for women. And to make it easy they decided to pick a name that’s audio-appearance has been already proved good…

While Microsoft is trying so hard to keep up with Apple, this commercial for Microsofts new music-application “Songsmith” indicates a high level of suspiciousness. It seems more like a “Joining the Microsoft-Sect”-Commercial, reminding me of scientology ads. But please watch it yourself! -
January 14th, 2009design&advertisingAdagency aeffaeff recently launched campaign titled “Save Capitalism” in its blog.
This campaign is initiating a supporting movement to avoid the suspected econ-crush of western civilisation. The quintessence is to believe in our existing economy and keep taking part in it. Keep spending money you don’t have, keep buying useless stuff! If you’d like to make a contribution to the movement you can take part in the connected competition. You can design a logo or any other creative work themed “Save Capitalism” on the aeffaeff blog (german site). Click here to see the previous entries.
Down below you can see two logos and one (also the first in that particular competition) movie created by myself!
