YAYO: A lot of people only know you as “Brian” the nerdy Bassist from the tv-show “Gilmore Girls”. But you actually do a lot more than just acting. Can you tell us a bit about your worklife?JOHN: Sure. Well, it’s very different than it was 4 years ago during the height of the show, that’s for sure. I’ve found my work life shift very far into the area of writing and producing. I guess it started in 2006 when I began pitching a project that I would ultimately sell to Warner Brothers and spend 2 years developing with them. These days I spend a lot of time in front of the computer writing new stuff… or driving to pitch meetings around town. But my work life seems to go in cycles. I remember that the late ninties were similarly a lot of “in house” projects. Then I sort of launched into the field all of a sudden with my directing and acting projects of the last decade.
